I am a second year HCC Ph.D. student at Georgia Tech. I split my research time between builing rich interactive applications for creative collaboration that are tightly integrated with the built environment; I study how designers of the built world and designers of interactive experiences approach their craft, and am actively developing a design framework to better enable integration between the two; I am researching the social impact of technology, specifically looking at how marginalized communities like the homeless are affected by the social changes inherent in the adoption of new technologies.
