Video Remixing in Online Communities:
A Research Study
We are studying the creative process in remix culture, in particular in online video remixing communities. We’re interested in how people gather material, edit it, and think of themselves as creators/authors in the process. We hope that our research will result in a deeper understanding of online remix communities in general as well as revealing specific factors about remix practices which affect the creative process.
