Last updated 04/21/2000, 4:00 p.m.
Demo Information:
-
A demo checklist with grading breakdown is being provided here.
-
Demos are all next week (April 24-28) in CoC Solaris lab 107.
-
Sign up for a demo time in class on Thursday, April 20, or come by the
database lab in CoC - the sheet will be posted on the database lab's door.
-
Use your group number to sign up for the demo (see this list
of groups for your group number)
-
Graduating seniors must demo on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.
-
Phase III reports are due on Thursday, April 27 --- UNLESS your group has
graduating seniors in it: in this case, turn in your project report at
the demo.
-
All students in a group must be present for the demo -- if there are extenuating
circumstances, you must inform a TA or Prof. Navathe before your demo is
scheduled to occur.
-
New! Groups with graduating seniors
who demo before Wednesday, April 26, have the option of showing an improved
demo by the end of the week (April 28).
Project Group Member Evaluations (updated
4/21/2000, 4:00 p.m.)
Each member of the project group should evaluate their team members,
including themselves. Each member should send an email to the TA
who has been grading their group project over the semester (there is a
list here of the TAs who graded the groups).
Include your group number in the email. In this email should be the
following:
-
A short paragraph (3-4 sentences) on the contributions of each of your
team members (e.g. if you have 3 other team members, then write 3 paragraphs).
List contributions of who did what on each phase of the project, especially
for phase 3. Assign a letter grade for each team member.
-
A short paragraph of your own contributions to the project, including phase
3 contributions.
-
An honest assessment of what you think your project grade should be.
Explain why.
