General Information

Description: (General online Course Catalog) Describes the characteristics of interaction between humans and computers and demonstrates techniques for the evaluation of user-centered systems. Crosslisted with PSYC 6750.
Goals:
- To expose you to the significance of the usability of a computer system from the user's perspective.
- To gain awareness of human capabilities and how that impacts interaction.
- To gain expertise in applying various HCI evaluation and modeling techniques to improve the design and software development process.
- To inform you of advanced research areas in HCI for further research.
