Lab 1: Introduction to 1311x Labs and UNIX
NOTE: Workon is currently not available. Please disregard the Workon sections in this lab for the time being
NOTE: Due to workon not being available, you may have problems accessing tin. We're working on a more permanent solution, but for the time being, run ~gtwreck/bin/tin. Sorry for the inconvience.
NOTE: If you are having trouble with lab1, then do the following:
  • log into acme via telnet
  • type: ~gte393u/lab1-fixes/cs1311x-setup.sh
  • log out
  • log back in
This is a script one of the TA's wrote that will fix the path issue so that you can just type tin at a prompt. Also, please note that if you did not get credit for the newsgroup post, then in order to have it regraded you must resubmit your answers to the quiz.
