Bad example:
MY PROGRAM ISN'T WORKING!
This format will let the TA's and other students skim through and find problems they are certain they can help with. This will greatly speed up the time it takes to answer your particular question.
This newsgroup is where to post questions about Lab specific questions. It can be posted to, and answered by TAs or students.
Be Descriptive. Don't just send a message saying that your program doesn't work. On a good day, this might get you sympathy. Isolate the problem as much as you can. Tell us what the program is or isn't doing? What is its behavior when it crashes? What's t
he error message? You need to do the work to identify the problem so we can help you.
Be Polite! Programming can occasionally be frustrating. The newsgroups are not the place to vent this frustration.
