Description

This course serves as an orientation to graduate life for a PhD student in the College of Computing.

Course Objectives

  • Gain familiarity with research topics in the College of Computing.
  • Learn some technical skills to serve you in a research career.
  • Learn how to cope with life as a graduate student.
  • Have some fun along the way.

Responsibilities of Students

  • Arrive on time and attend all class meetings
  • Participate in classes
  • Submit projects on the due date

Prerequisites

PhD-level standing.
