GRADING

The objective of this class is for students to develop a substantial team-based software project. While the resulting software is very important for this evaluation, there is much more to software development than just coding. The grading criteria reflect these broader goals.

Software (Advisor Assigned)	Total 40%

IMPORTANT NOTES about GRADING

Attendance is required at all midterm and final presentations. Unexcused absences will result in a 1/2 letter grade reduction (5 points) in your presentation grade for each missed day. Missing your team's presenation is a one letter grade deduction.
The Project Plan, Requirements, and Design Documents may be submitted for a re-grade at the end of the term. (Please check the class schedule for due dates.) The re-grade will be used in determining final grade even if it is lower than the original..
