•  Your length may depend on your subject matter -- usually these papers are 8-20 pages, double-spaced.

•  You need to include a detailed background on the case itself (facts, not just opinion or evaluation).

•   Format your paper as indicated for publication in an ACM journal, with two exceptions:

1.  Double-space your text.
2.  Use the "APA guidelines" for citation formatting.  ("Writing Arguments" textbook, Appendix 2, page 267, or search online for "APA citations" and you should find the necessary info.)

•  To turn in:


1.  Name your paper 4000<section letter>-<last name><.doc,.ps,.pdf>,  (ie. 4000b-daley.pdf)
2.  Zip your file up in the file "<section letter>-<lastname>.zip,  (ie. b-daley.zip)
3.  Send email to your sections TA, Subject "CS4000 Term Paper", with the .zip file as an attachment.
