Paper
Due: Sunday,
April 20th, before midnight.
- Your length may depend
on your subject matter -- usually these papers are 8-20 pages, double-spaced.
- You need to include
a detailed background on the case itself (facts, not just opinion or evaluation).
- Format your paper
as indicated for publication in an ACM journal,
with two exceptions:
- Double-space your text.
- Use the "APA guidelines"
for citation formatting. ("Writing Arguments" textbook, Appendix 2,
page 267, or search online for "APA citations" and you should find the necessary
info.)
- If you still have
questions, see Prof Potts in his office hours on Wed, April 16th, 10-12 am
in the commons area.
- To turn in:
- Name your paper 4000<section
letter>-<last name><.doc,.ps,.pdf>, (ie. 4000b-daley.pdf)
- Zip your file up
in the file "<section letter>-<lastname>.zip, (ie. b-daley.zip)
- Send email to your
sections TA, Subject "CS4000 Term Paper", with the .zip file as an attachment.
