To conduct any research using human participants, as you will be doing in this class, the IRB (Institutional Review Board) requires that you complete this online certification course.

The course consists of a tutorial followed by questions on the material. You will need to register on the site to access the tutorial. When registering, you will be asked whether you are taking the course for continuing education credits or just for certification. Select the choice for "Completion Certificate only, no continuing education credits."
The tutorial will take roughly two hours. After completing and passing the online exam, you will be given a certificate online. Please print this out and turn it in to me by Friday, January 17. This assignment should be done individually, not by project teams , as everyone in the class must have his or her own certification.
