The purpose of this assignment is to give you practice in conducting a "mini"-heuristic evaluation. Your task is to evaluate two websites, www.delta.com and www.expedia.com, with respect to the user interface they provide for a person making a flight reservation. Use the techniques suggested by Jakob Nielsen to conduct a discount usability evaluation of the two sites. Work through the process of making reservations yourself. Evaluate the techniques provided by the two different sites. Consider what happens if a user wants to change information midway through the process, or what happens if the user makes an error. Obviously, a full heuristic evaluation would take more time than you have for this assignment, but do the best you can in a reasonable and concise manner.

Turn in your evaluation of the air reservation sites (one page maximum!), organized around the principles of heuristic evaluation. Make sure to highlight any usability problems that you find.
