Description
- This course serves as an orientation to graduate life for a PhD student in the
College of Computing.
Course Objectives
- Gain familiarity with research topics in the College of Computing.
- Learn some technical skills to serve you in a research career.
- Learn how to cope with life as a graduate student.
- Have some fun along the way.
Responsibilities of Students
- Arrive on time and attend all class meetings
- Participate in classes
- Submit projects on the due date
Prerequisites
- PhD-level standing.
