Questions

Answer the following questions. All of your answers should be written as complete sentences using appropriate grammar and spelling.
  1. What is the issue the author is discussing? State your answer in a neutral fashion.
  2. Using no more than one paragraph, give a neutral synopsis of the author's position. Begin your answer with the author's main claim.
  3. What value or values do you believe underlie the author's position
  4. List the reasons that the author gives for her position.
  5. For each reason, state whether it is itself a reason or whether it is backed by evidence.
  6. For each reason, state whether you agree or not. Give a reason for your position.
  7. Using no more than one paragraph, give a critique of the effectiveness of the author's argument.
