General Grading Policy
- If you do not submit, you get 0
- If you do submit, you get 1
- If you submit and make good points in your commentary, you get 2
- You'll get penalty of 0.5/day for late submissions
- I add/minus 0.5 in some cases
A few comments to make...
- A long commentary doesn't necessarily make a good one. Try to summarize
the main points of the paper concisely in the first paragraph.
- I understand some papers were hard to read especially for the people who
are not used to kernel work. Mentioning it was hard to read is okay, but
hard-to-read cannot be the "limitation" of the paper.
- If you think the paper was well-written, in what sense? Try to be more
specific on strength and weakness of the paper.
- Getting 1 point doesn't mean your commentary was bad. I'd like to see some interesting points to give you 2 points.
