The paper to be summarized or reviewed each week is indicated on the schedule as number “px” from the paper list. Please use the online forms below to automatically send a submission e-mail to the TA before class on Thursday:

Assignments

• Assignment 1 on illumination, due Tuesday Sept 14, supporting paper
• Assignment 2 (version 2) on SIFT features, due Tuesday Sept 28, images are here. In the original assignment there was a bug in the Mahalanobis math. You need to do the SVD on the inverse covariance matrix, and precompute normalized feature vectors as sqrt(D)*transpose(P)*v. Thanks to Andrew Guillory for bringing this to my attention.
