Grade Distribution

After your midterm feedback, indicating quizzes were too heavily weighted with respect to theassignments with their higher workload, the grading scales are now the same for students enrolled in CS 7495 or in CS 4495:

In class participation	5
Paper Reviews	15
Quizzes	30
Programming Assignments	25
Final Project	25

However, to be fair for students who “planned” their workload using the old grading scale below, both grades will be calculated and the best of two taken. The old scale for 4495 was as follows:

Collaboration Policy

Collaboration on assignments is encouraged at the "white board interaction" level. That is, share ideas and technical conversation, but write your own code. Students are expected to abide by the Georgia Tech Honor Code. Honest and ethical behavior is expected at all times. All incidents of suspected dishonesty will be reported to and handled by the office of student affairs.
