Exam Make-up Policy
There are some valid reasons for missing an exam: important personal
trips, illness, accidents, participation in school events, etc.
Nevertheless, having a valid reason does not mean you will automatically
be allowed to make-up an exam. You also need to give prior notice!
You need to let your instructor know before exam time that you will not
be able to come to the exam. Otherwise, you will just lose the points.
Clearly, emergencies that occur on the way to school or that prevent
you from notifying the instructor are an exception. But common cases,
such as "woke up with a headache" or "was out of town on a sports meeting"
are not exempt! If you could reasonably have given notice before
(e.g., by email) and you have not, no make-up will be given.
