Background

Software Licenses are the mechanism whereby software vendors control the distribution and use of their products. It is the purpose of this
assignment to become acquainted with the provisions of a typical license and how they affect the rights of the user and the vendor.

Requirements

1. Choose a software product distributed under an explicit license. Provide the name of the product, its release number, and the
    name of the company providing it. You are also free to choose an Open Source or otherwise non-commercial product as long as an explicit
    license exists for it. If possible, also list the price of the software.
2. Indicate the duration of the license.
3. Provide a list of the rights the user has related to the software.
4. Provide a list of restrictions the user is placed under.
5. Provide a list of any rights retained by the vendor.
6. List any unusual or unexpected provisions.
7. Using no more than a paragraph, summarize the extent to which you feel obliged to follow the terms of the license and under what circumstances
    you might violate them.
8. Your whole assignment should take no more than one page.
9. Bring a hardcopy with you to class.
