General Information
This course will provide an introduction to current techniques for
electronic game design and programming. Topics will include computer graphics,
motion generation, behavioral control for autonomous characters, interaction
structure, and social and interface issues of multi-user play.
- To facilitate communication between non-CS team members and
soon-to-be computer scientists on game development projects.
- To provide the future game programmer and designer with concepts
and strategies for making design decisions.
- To expose the future game programmer and designer to tools,
techniques, and ideas for interface design.
- To stress the importance of good game design.
