| Due April 13 | CS 7450 - Information Visualization | Spring 2005 |
You will be given a set of information items in a handout (from a hypothetical intelligence analysis scenario). Your goal is to make as much sense of the items and develop a hypothesis about what is being planned by the individuals listed in the items. Note that the information does not tell a complete story. Some items may be red-herrings and others may be incomplete and/or contradictory. Do your best.
What to turn in: Turn in a paragraph or two that describe what you think is being planned. As you are working on the assignment, save your notes and any visual representations you employ to assist in the process. Turn in these notes and representations (or a subset if they are too numerous). We will have a discussion in class about how each of you worked and what the implications are for information visualization.
