Welcome to Human-Centered Computing. Technology surrounds us, is woven into the fabric of everyday life, taking numerous forms and providing a variety of functions. Human-Centered Computing is about understanding technology from a human-centered perspective. This class begins this journey with an introduction to the range of issues across the HCC disciplines including design and research methodologies: cognitive, social, and cultural theories; assessment and evaluation; and ethical issues.
