(1) Phase III Deliverables:

Submit the following to your respective TA on or before Monday, 3rd December 2007, 11:59 pm by e-mail. You should email a zip file to your TA (the TA who graded your Phase I and Phase II of the project*). The subject of the mail should be CS4400: Fall 07 – Phase III. The name of the zip file should have name of one team member in it.

Submit the following as a part of Phase III deliverables –

  • Copy of the Create Table statements from Phase – II with any revisions. {Both Heavyweight and Lightweight option}
  • A set of working SQL statements for all project tasks. {Those who have chosen Lightweight Option}
  • All Source code files (documented) of functional GUI, embedded SQL Statements and other coding that you have done in this project. {Those who have chosen Heavyweight Option}

 (2) Instructions and Guidelines for Final Demo.

  • You will give demo to the “same” TA who has graded Phase I and Phase II of your project. If you don’t know who has graded your project, send an e-mail to tusharsugandhi@gatech.edu for more information.
  • For both heavy weight and light weight projects, students have to populate tables on their own. No sample data will be provided to students for the final demo.
  • The final grading of the Phase III will be based on both submitted documents as well as final demo.
  • The demo time slots schedule for each TA will be put on class swiki page. You need to go there and sign up for the time slot that you want for the demo. You have to write the name of one group member against the time slot that your group wants. (Note that this is on the first come first serve basis). The sign up has to be done on or before Monday, 3rd December 2006, 11:59pm. For any issues in time slots for the demo, contact your respective TA.

 (3)Preparation Tips for Final Demo:

  • The tables in your system have to be populated before demo.
  • Those who have chosen Heavyweight option - You are expected to give a “System Walkthrough” during the demo which will show the GUI screens in your systems in a logical sequence of Task execution. Also make sure to show the different things that your system can do.
  • The assessment of your project {both Heavyweight and Lightweight} will be heavily dependent on the correct execution of tasks given in Information Flow Diagram for Phase I. So make sure that you implement all the tasks.
  • There will be 10% extra credit for Phase III. The extra credit is for features implemented which are not given in project specification. Note that the extra credit is not a replacement for the tasks you are supposed to implement. It means you will get points of extra credit only when you implement all the functionality that is expected by the specification.
  • You can find more demo guidelines here.
