Home work submission guidelines


Homework is due in-class on the assigned due date. Collaboration is
allowed/encouraged on problems, however each student must independently
complete his/her own write-up, and all collaborators should be listed.

Please start your answer to each question on a new page.

Staple together your sheets.

Please write short and precise answers.

Please write neatly and legibly.

For algorithms, please do not write programs.  First give a high level
description of the algorithm and then supply the necessary details.

For every algorithm that you design, please give arguments as to why
it is correct and why it runs in the claimed time bound.
