Setting up Newsgroup with Thunderbird

1. If you don't have thunderbird email client, download it.
2. Go to Tools -> Account Settings.
3. Click on Add account.
4. From the options, select "Newsgroup account".
5. Put your name and GT email address (no alias or CoC email). For eg: gburdell@mail.gatech.edu and then click Next.
6. Newsgroup server is news.gatech.edu. Click next.
7. Put any account name.
8. Click Next and then Click Finish.

9.You will see your account created.
10. Right Click on the account and click on subscribe.
11. You can browse through the tree to get the path: git.cc.class.cs4400 
                            OR
      In the "Show items that contain:" textfield enter this text: git.cc.class.cs4400
12. Select the newsgroup and click subscribe.
13. Again right click on your account name. Click on properties. Go to server settings for this account. Check "User secure connection (SSL)" and make sure the port number is 563.
