Here's the Deal:
On a scale of 160 points, one must earn 144 for an "A," or 90%. Those students who earn 144 or more points, on assignments, the midterm, and extra credit (as recorded by 13 March 1998), qualify not to take the final exam, because they have demonstrated ample proficiency in the course.
The point totals above are the "standard curve," and do not reflect either 1) extra credit options on your assignments or 2) extra credit which you may earn by participating in training at the Georgia Tech Library.
I will attempt to provide limited instruction in use of some particular electronic search tools available on campus. However, the Library offers additional assistance through one-hour sessions, focused on specific topics.
Pre-registration for these sessions is not necessary, and a schedule appears on the back of the "extra credit voucher" attached to your syllabus packet (also available outside my office door, CoC Room 119). Observe these guidelines:
