Course News and Updates to Assignments

Try to focus research as "problems" to which you are trying to find solutions. A Problem = Topic of Research + Questions about the topic. Use what you already know about your topic (if anything!) as a starting point, but be very clear in your mind what it is you are hoping to learn about your topic. If you do this, you will be able to make faster, more efficient decisions about which information items (and you will find thousands!) are most relevant or useful.

Note: Students are responsible for announced changes or corrections to assignments which are made before an assignment is due. See syllabus page. Please check the newsgroup weekly or whenever questions arise while you complete an assignment.

Two possible sources for the Same news!
