Design A Corporate Information System

Discuss at Design Assignment Collaboration Space. Due on July 10 in class.

Design a corporate information system for tracking the relationships between employees, managers, and groups in different companies. Think of this as the information in a Rolodex for someplace like Business Week.

• Companies have different focus areas, like McDonald's and fast food, Boeing and airplanes.
• Everyone has an office and a phone. People have names and social security numbers.
• Everyone has a manager (except the CEO, who is her own manager, as well as the manager of all the company presidents.). A manager is associated with a group of employees (and is also considered a member of that group of employees.)
• Each manager has a title.
• Each group of employees as a role in the company.

Do not forget to provide Design Documentation. Your designs will be graded with respect to Criteria for good OOA/OOD.
