• I'm working on missing grades this morning. Check by afternoon for anything that you think might be missing.
• On Thursday morning, I start computing final grades. All extra credit must be in by Wed. at noon.
• Some folk are upset that PA3 had the emphasis between design and coding adjusted by 10 points from regular
• I did announce the re-emphasis on code in class when we started PA3, but I probably wasn't clear on the grading scale shift
• I'm sorry that it wasn't clearer and that I didn't repeat it enough -- it wasn't my intention to surprise anyone.
• If it turns out to be a critical issue in anyone's grade, that will be taken into account

• Found the turnin system bug! Nothing is lost, but Bolot Kerimbaev found a deep Squeak bug
• Strings were being written out with a four byte header, but read back in with a two-byte header
• Anything over 16K was getting lost
• The bug is now fixed, and the turnin system should be working normally

• PA3 is NOT a group project!
• Extra credit opportunity! You can earn 0.5 extra credit points added to your final grade!
• (Note: The difference between the lowest A and the highest B last quarter was 0.6 points.)

• On PA3: If anyone uses your UI toolkit on PA3, each member of your PA2 team will get 3 extra points on their PA3.

• IE4 doesn't always allow you to turn in large files. Use older versions of IE or Netscape.

• Sarah Rees broke her leg this last weekend. Therefore, she'll be slow to respond to things (no responses at all this week!)
• Lex Spoon will take over her lab Wednesday, and labs may take a little bit longer to get returned.

• Don't panic if all your grades aren't in the turnin system yet!
• If you have DA1 or midterm grades in hand, you're golden!
• If you have email with your lab grades, you're also golden!
• If you're really worried, don't be! It's just that the TA's haven't uploaded all the grades yet. Give them a chance!

• Bring your Goldberg and Robson books to Lab this week. You'll need them.
• This Thursday (May 7) and continuing to next Tuesday (as necessary), you'll have a chance to convince your classmates to use your general UI architecture that you're using for PA2
• If another team uses your architecture and credits you, you get an extra five points on PA2!
• If you want to present your general UI architecture, drop me a note.
