Description
Attending graduate school is an option that you should carefully consider. This seminar will help you decide if it is a good option for you, and if so, how to get into the best schools and what to expect. Presentations will be made by faculty, former students, and representatives from industry. The seminar will also discuss career planning in general, the advantages of different types of jobs, and how to succeed beyond your first job.

General Information

We hope that this course will help you get the most out of your undergraduate education at Gatech and help you plan for an exciting and profitable career afterwards. This course is an experiment and we would like to get feedback from you on which of the topics are useful and which aren't.

There is an optional text for the class: 10 Minute Guide to Applying to Grad School by Lichtenstein and McDonnell.
