There is no required text but the following three books available in the main library are recommended for supplementary readings:

- Artificial Intelligence, E. Rich and K. Knight, McGraw-Hill, Second Edition, 1991.
- Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach, S. Russell and P. Norvig, Prentice-Hall, 1995.
In addition, the following two books, also available in the main library, are recommended for supplementary readings on AI programming in Lisp:
