Objectives:

  1. Understand general concepts of data communications as applied to computer networks
  2. Learn fundamental concept asssociated with data link, network, transport, and application protocol layers.
  3. Application of the concepts to network technology

Grading: Homework 30%
Midterm 30%
Final 35%
Attendance / Class participation 5%

Reading Assignment: Read sections of textbook to be covered in the next class.

Attendance Policy: Be on time for the class. I take attendance irregularly. Send me email ahead if you will be missing a class.

Homework Policy: Submit in class on due-date. Late submission (maximum 24 hours) to TA accepted with 20% penalty in grade.
