Email your questions or comments (or answers!) to colleen@cc.gatech.edu and I'll post 'em here. Newer questions are at the top. Q: Will we have to actually build the application system that we propose?
A: No, you don't have to build a functional system. What you will have to create is a set of storyboards that show how the user would interact with the system. Think "screen shots". You can build these in HTML, PowerPoint or your favorite drawing tool. In other offerings of this course people have built partially functional prototypes in Adobe Director, VisualBasic, or something similar. You might consider using these kinds of tools if you're already very familForiar with them, but just use them to show what the interface would be like -- don't build a system. For the final presentations, you will have to show your storyboards on the LiveBoard (a Win95 machine with a giant monitor), so choose something that can be shown on that machine. - Colleen
