| Due January 26 | CS 6751 - Human-Computer Interaction | Winter 1999 |
Imagine that you are a visitor to Georgia Tech and you have entered the building housing the bookstore. Just inside the door you find an information kiosk. Suppose that you want to find the office and phone number of Professor Eiselt in the College of Computing, and you wanted to get directions on how to walk there.
Your job in this assignment is to go down to the bookstore and simulate the situation above. Try to perform those tasks, and also try out some other ones. For example, can you find directions to the Fox Theatre downtown? Conduct a mini-heuristic evalation of the interface and interaction supported by the kiosk.
Turn in your evaluation of the kiosk interface (one page maximum!) highlighting the good and bad points of the interface, in your opinion, and any usability problems that you found.
