I have coalesced a hotlist of websites that evaluate or in some way deal with computers and scientific ethical concerns.  I have following a list of questions that can guide your evaluation of each site.  It is hoped by seeing what of information disseminated the current state if information on computers and ethics will prompt us to further pursuit and issues of discussion.

In the examination of each web site rate the sites according to your own perspective good/ bad and look closely at the following elements.

Site evaluation

1.) What is the source of the site? (. edu, .gov, .org, etc..) If edu. Is it a professor, student…?
2.) Is the material at face value seem valid and informative?
3.) Who is the site intended for, students, colleagues, scientists, or for the general public?
4.) Is the information structure coherent?
5.) Do you have to divulge personal info before being allowed access to the material? E-mail, address, name, etc.
6.) Are the links up to date? Is the site cross-referenced to sites by the same developer?
7.) When was the last time the site was updated?
8.) Is the site visually pleasing
