Below is a summary of the expected GOALS/OBJECTIVES for this project:

1.) The objective of this project is to fully develop & animate characters in a short animation. The characters in this story are two catepillars that eventually turn into butterflies & the basic plot is a love story.

To be effective, the following elements should be contained within the animation/story:

1.) Reference-> The Illusion of Life, How to give characters the illusion of a real existence. (i.e. expressions, gestures)

2.) Effective layout/ storyboard development.

3.) Background scene development.

4.) Effective camera usage/cuts.

5.) Integration with sound.

6.) Development of effective locomotion characteristics

And possibly:

1.) Facial Animation

2.) Procedural Animation (i.e. metamorphasis, warping, clouds/sunset)

3.) Secondary Animation (i.e. water splash, clothing, hair)
