- Instructor: Ian Smith. Book: Touretsky. Lectures Notes: on line.
( a couple of derivations of Kurt's Notes, but lots of different
material )
- Fall '94
- Instructor: Glenn Adams. Book: Touretsky. Lectures Notes: on line
(partial compilation. Not lecture notes per se.)
Prof. Eiselt has taught this class more than anyone else.
The lecture notes used by Kurt are available
here.
NOTE:In the past the class usually uses Touretzky's
Common Lisp: A Gentle Introduction ... book.
Currently, Wilensky's Common Lispcraft has gained most favored status.
However, there is lots of material just within the lectures notes and not
in any of these books.
Historical NOTE: The first incarnation of 2360 used Sussman and Abelson's
Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs(SICP) book. At
some point in your career you should read that book, IMHO. It uses Scheme ( a different
dialect of lisp ) so alas it is not used for this class.
Ian taught this class in Winter of 1995. His notes largely follow
Kurt's but with a slightly different viewpoint.
The notes ( and other Winter 95 material ) are avaialbe
here.
