Lab 2: P1's from last quarter

In STABLE, there are two examples of P1 (Programming Assignment #1) from Winter 1996 Quarter CS 2390.

• Review and critique them both. You may wish to ask questions about how they work and critique them using the links to WebCaMILE.
• Choose ONE and implement it. Yes, this will mean copying-and-pasting the code. (Note: You will also need the Count.st and CViews.st and UI code segments. See the note in CaMILE on filing-in for help on filing in.)
• Test the ONE that you implement it using the same sample code:

• Be prepared to discuss in class on Thursday why you implemented the one that you did.

Feel free to use CaMILE to discuss the two P1's -- there are links from STABLE to a CaMILE discussion explicitly for talking about the two P1's. For example, post your critique or what you think is particularly good or bad about the P1 that you selected -- and see what others think. (BTW, the CaMILE hooked up to STABLE is different than the class CaMILE -- don't be upset if you don't see your favorite notes there.)

When you are completed with your implementation of one of the P1's in STABLE:

1. File out your code (just the DivisorCount stuff). (You don't have to write up a critique -- we'll discuss it in class.)
2. Mail it to cs2390@prism WITH A SUBJECT LINE OF "LAB #2 - YOURREALNAME"

The lab is due by Thursday at 3:00 pm.
