Storyboard 3


The important part of storyboard 3 is that the way sorting is defined was reversed: there are now drop-down list boxes containing each of the 4 sort criteria listed on the previous storyboard so that the user can select the primary and secondary sort keys from the 4 available. The sort fields cannot be left blank. The start date fields were added with this iteration. The "Edit Groups" button was changed to a "Groups..." button. In addition, the date fields were split into 3 seperate text-input boxes to make the date format more apparent.

Note that one row of controls has been crossed out - not to be considered part of this design. Also, the second "Secondary Sort" entry area should have been crossed out. At the bottom, we were considering some of the other buttons that we felt should be incorporated into the screen.
