Redesign Process

At the completion of the initial design phase, the design documentation was passed to a second party for evaluation. The evaluation group returned a list of potential usability problems along with their reasons for flagging problems as such.

The design team was then forced to re-evaluate their design based on the feedback from the evaluation group. Each problem presented and its rationale were considered to see if they were legitimate problems in the initial design within the project scope. Those problems accepted by the design team as real usability problems were then addressed; the initial design was modified to solve these particular problems.
