There is an annual Conference on Human factors in Computing Systems, frequently referred to as CHI. You assignment is to select two related articles from recent CHI proceedings, and to write a summary of each article as well as another section comparing and contrasting the two articles. One of the selected articles must contain experimental work.
Related articles, for example, could both deal with virtual reality, even though the research is significantly different. Recent CHI proceedings are considered to be those in the past three to four years.
In the event you are unable to locate CHI proceedings easily, a related conference such as SIGGRAPH or journal articles may be used instead.
Your review should consist of 10-15 pages. Please photocopy and attach the articles when you hand in the assignment.
This assignment is optional, and is worth 50 points. It is due on August 2 at the start of class.
