Critique User/Task Analysis
LATE BREAKING HELP!! As you may have noticed some
previous classes (like last fall) did not use formal task analysis
techniques in the first part of their project. Focus on projects in
the Summer 1994
class as they did use the task analysis techniques.
Also include one project that did not use the formal techniques but
still attempted to define the problem space for their design.
Critique 3 past 6751 projects for the quality of their user and task
analysis. For each project provide:
- Brief description of their project purpose - what were they
trying to design.
- A description of their user and task analysis. What techniques
did they use? What information did they obtain?
- Your assessment - what did they do well?
- Your assessment - what did they do poorly?
This is an individual assignment. Feel free to look at past projects
that are related to your current project.
A hard-copy summary is due at the beginning of class, Monday, January
25. It should also be included in your individual class homepage.
