FDK Pre-distribution notice
Thank you for your
interest in using the Federated Simulations Development Kit (FDK)
software. Please carefully review the following agreement describing the
terms and conditions on which this software must be used. We appreciate
your patience with the following simple procedure which we are required to
follow due to our legal obligations. This is mainly intended to prevent
intentional or unintentional abuse of the software.
Note: The US Department of Defense
requires us to follow different
clearance procedures for persons NOT residing in the following
list
of countries: United States of America, United Kingdom, Brasil,
Germany,
France, Canada, Netherlands, Sweden, Australia, Japan, South Korea,
Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, Israel, Italy, South Africa, Thailand
and
Russia. If you do NOT reside in one of the countries in this list,
you
must indicate so. In such case, we will need to follow additional
clearance
procedures in addition to that outlined below.
If you reside in a country in the above
list, AND if you agree to ALL the terms and conditions noted below, please
send an email message to
fdk@cc.gatech.edu saying:
"I affirm that I reside in COUNTRY,
and I accept the FDK usage agreement" (replace COUNTRY with your
country name).
Upon receiving the confirmation of acceptance, we will send you an email
containing the URL from which you can download the FDK software. The
terms and conditions of usage are binding upon your receiving the URL.
Authorization to use the FDK software is obtained ONLY through the above
procedure of agreement. Any other way of obtaining the URL or the
software is legally prohibited. You agree that you will not reveal the
URL to any other party for the purpose of circumventing this
procedure.
