Simulation-Based Transportation Research
The College of Computing and the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering
at the Georgia Institute of Technology are collaborating on research involving
simulation and intelligent transportation systems (ITS). This research consists
of two separate, yet related, projects.
This project involves developing a testbed of interoperable simulations of
transportation infrastructures, communication networks, and application
frameworks.
This project will leverage the above test bed to explore the use of simulation
techniques to enhance operations planning in transportation systems.
