Computational Perception Lab

To be changed. The Computational Perception Laboratory (CPL) was developed to explore and develop the next generation of intelligent machines, interfaces, and environments for modeling, perceiving, recognizing, and interacting with humans. CPL domains of interest include:

computer vision/perception

computer graphics

computer animation

human computer interaction

digital special effects

artificial intelligence

pattern recognition machine learning robotics
aware home / environments audio processing ubiquitous computing/sensing

eldercare technologies

motion analysis

computational music

CPL is affiliated with the Graphics, Visualization, and Usability Center, an interdisciplinary research center at Georgia Tech. Additionally, it is also affiliated with the Future Computing Environments Group, the Intelligent Systems Group, the Broadband Institute, CERCS, and the Center for Signal and Image Processing,

Members of CPL include faculty as well as graduate and undergraduate students from the College of Computing, the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering, and various other units from Georgia Tech.
