PhD CS – Intelligent Systems Body of Knowledge

The Intelligent Systems (IS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) written PhD qualifying exam requires that each candidate be examined in two specialization areas. The reading lists below are intended to be comprehensive background material in each of these areas. In addition, materials from the core graduate courses in each specialization area are presumed to have been read.
