Michael L. Best is Assistant Professor with the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs with a joint appointment in the School of Interactive Computing. He is also a Fellow of the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University and Research Affiliate with the Center for Technology, Policy, and Industrial Development and the Program for Internet & Telecoms Convergence at MIT. Michael is co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of Information Technologies and International Development published by the MIT Press. Michael is a frequent consultant to the World Bank, ITU, and USAID. He holds a Ph.D. from the MIT Media Lab and has served as Director of Media Lab Asia in India and head of the eDevelopment group at the MIT Media Lab.
