In IRC Français, there are two ways of generating accents:

• Using the toolbar: To generate accents in this way, simply type the letter you want and then press the button at the top of the screen corresponding to the correct accent.
• Using the keyboard: To generate accents on the keyboard, your keyboard will act like an international keyboard layout. For example, the character combination "'e" will generate "é". For more details, please see the Northeastern Illinois University Accent Page.
