WinMOOSE: Known Bugs / Unimplemented Features
Tests to Conduct:
Test Implode/Explode more thoroughly.
Make sure \ escapes make sense in editor windows.
Track down those pesky line numbering bugs!
Check ALL scrolling windows (feedback, history) for overflow. [Done: the
windows don't autodelete but that's not a problem.]
Interface:
ASK before closing main telnet window.
UNDO is not implemented.
We should grey-out text entry areas until the editor is initialized.
Input/Command History should merge on main telnet window.
The command history splits wraparound commands.
User should be able to click on the command history.
Re-examine font settings for the mail & help boxes.
Multi-line property box list conversion dialog could have better wording.
Implode/Explode could have better names.
Getting nicer icons in the alt-tab box would be good.
Clicking on the main menu taskbar entry might be nice.
When not connected, certain windows give their name and others just say
(unconnected window).
Bugs:
Font size changes BACK to 12 pt in feedback window of editors.
Font size changes BACK to 12 pt when deleting scrollback in main telnet.
$MacMOOSE_utils handles \ differently in lists than in regular properties.
Line numbering sometimes doesn't give enough spaces until the second line.
Line numbering sometimes leaves off the last line.
Explode should be grayed on a non-explodable property.
There is a bug where the main telnet window doesn't scroll quite all the way
down upon receiving new text.
"Create on child..." fills the edit box with the parent's script! Weird.
Detect network timeout.
There is some blinking upon startup if the telnet window exceeds the text
within it.
Missing Functionality:
Dragable Splitters would be good.
Line-Numbering in mail window would be nice.
If a window is open, use that instead of a new one.
Preferences dialog.
CTRL-# does not switch to another Telnet window (for those hardcore MOO
junkies).
Advanced Features:
Colored text is not used on the Browser window.
Verb support is not present.
Optional Features:
Saving output to a file.
Logging of bugs rather than a message box.
