Nominee should have taught at least two courses for a minimum of six credits during the previous calendar year, and should have taught at least one undergraduate course. The award recognizes the time and the effort that tenure-track faculty members spend in mentoring faculty and to appreciate mentors' service to the COC and computing communities. | The Raytheon Faculty Scholarship The College is seeking applications for the 2009-10 Raytheon E-Systems Faculty Fellowship interdisciplinary seed grant award. This award will be made to provide support for one half-time Graduate Research Assistant for the academic year (2009-10) who is co-advised by two CoC faculty members in different Schools. It is provided to foster innovative research and collaboration between the CoC Schools. The nomination should include the following:
Nominees may want to consider describing in general terms how the Fellowship funds will be used to foster cross-college collaboration. Nominations are due to the Associate Dean for Research (arkin@cc.gatech.edu) no later than March 1, 2009. Results will be announced at the College's Spring Awards Ceremony. |
