Thomas Cooper will lead this workshop from 8:30am - 4:00pm in room 345 of the College of Computing Building at Georgia Tech. Teachers will learn how to use python to create a simple face, more complex shapes, speech balloons, and animation. Teachers will create a temperature convertor with a Graphical User Interface. Teachers will write a Python function to display a nursery rhyme or song. Teachers will also create art with the Scribbler robots.
All teachers who attend will receive a Python book.This workshop is free for Georgia teachers. We can also reimburse for substitutes for Georgia teachers. Space is limited to 30.
